Condition of failure
Cause (in processing)remedy
Flange forming at roll ends, groove forming on roll surface, differ in roll end diameters.
End surface of two rolls is not the same vertical plate.Enable two rolls length to be same.
Position of long shedding plate is not centered.Adjust it.
Feed is not uniform, more hard materials contained in incoming stock, rubber roll differential is high, rubber roll hardness is improper chosen.Check that discharging oulet of long shedding plate is parallel with rubber roll, flow is moderate. Intensify removing stone, adjust the differential reasonable, choose the hardness according to climate and the variety of paddy.
The shaft line of two rolls is not parallel.Adjust bearing housing slightly to assure parallelism of two rolls.
Husking yield is too low
Pressure between two rolls is not enough.Add the weight.
Roll is worn.According to list2,list3, shift gear.
Belt slip seriously to cause the differential decreasing.Tighten belt properly.
Feed flow is too large.Tighten up the management for row material.
Broken rice contained in post-husking materials and cracked rice increase.
Pressure between two rolls is too large or the differential is too large to cause husking yield too high.Ensure proper pressure and the differential.
Hardness of rolls surface is over hard or produce groove forming, differ in roll end diameters etc.Adjust proper pressure or keep two rolls length to be same.
Brown rice contained in re-husking paddy is too large.Ensure brown rice contained in re-husking paddy to be under 10%.
More husk content in post-husking materials.
Air volume and velocity is too small.Proper raise air volume and velocity.
Large bran tube is blocked up.Clean large bran tube.
Large bran chamber is blocked up.Clean large bran chamber.
Air leakage is seriously.Repair the position of air leakage.
Angle of lower shedding plate is large or low edge of back air gate is too high.Check careful and adjust.
Grain content in bran is large.
Air volume in fan is two large to cause the air velocity in air channel and in suction inlet is too high.Proper reduce the rotation rate of fan or open air adjustable gate more. To ensure air speed up to 4.5~5m/s.
Angle of lower shedding plate is too small, lower edge of back air gate is too low, lower shedding plate is uneven, feedstock is accumulated on the middle shedding plate.Check careful and adjust.
Rubber roll wear is too fast.
Hardness of rubber roll is not enough.Use 950 shaoshi hardness.
Rubber roll differential is too large.Keep the differential required.
Previous cleaning equipment has a low efficiency, so impurity content in clean paddy is large.Increase efficiency of last stage cleaning equipment.
Pressure between rolls is large.Reduce the weight properly.
Husker vibrates seriously.
Both rubber rolls are not parallel.Make rubber rolls balance.
Fasteners work loose.Check fasteners.
Bearing of rubber roll has damaged.Replace the bearing.
Peripheral speed and differential are too high.Adjustment.
